I have a lot of friends and newbies and oldbies who are asking what is a good price to sell CMKX at.
I think that until we see the filing it is impossible to know a good selling price.
What we know is Urban has set up a company according to a well laid out plan. He has expressed a desire to reward shareholders and has demonstrated this in giving dividends.
Urban has expressed in the past the shares were worth .50-.61 a share.
When we file and see the actual share count we will have a clearer idea of how Urban values the stock.
If the outstanding share count is lower than most think and we have good news then we should be able to figure out a price based on value.
If we have a naked short squeeze then the value we know is the starting sell price. If we think our shares are presently worth .18 and we know that buyers HAVE to buy to cover. We should not even THINK of selling before .36.
That may seem mean but understand that these people were out to ruin our company and almost succeeded. They did manage to ruin many other companies and many persons individual and family finances.
So a Double present value is the beginning sell target. I might sell a small amount there.
Remember we are getting all these other companies as dividends. We own the stock in a good company. So now the stock is 3 times the present value. I may sell another small amount. That would be .54 a share. They have my attention.
OK day one and day two of the cover have nappened and there are still too many short shares out.
Now it is gettig serious. 4 X present value -Nah, 5 X present value
6 times present value (don't insult me), seven times present value ;D OK -they can buy a little more.
We don't know how this stock will run. I have seen stocks with much less than CMKX run sky high. We have a lot going on. It does make sense to take some money off the table.
My advice if you are going to sell is do it in very small batches. If you know you are selling a million shares then sell 200-300 at one of the lower prices. Then 200K at the next target level. Maybe day 2 sell 150,000 on the next target wave. Perhaps 100,000 as the day wears on the price goes waaaaay up.
Now you have 150,000 left for the day three spike. maybe do 2 or 3 sells.
Consider the price, your needs, the commissions you pay.
No one ever buys at the low all the time and sells at the high. So this will give you a good average sell price.
I do recommend keeping at least half long. I also think it is good to get free shares when you can but not too early.
One more thought. Consider the tax implications of your sells. Set aside money for taxes immediately. The time to think about taxes is before -not after you sell. If you are planning on giving the money away -it may make sense to give the stock away instead. Consult someone who knows.
Pray for wisdom. God Bless-Debi
