As a former Infantry Soldier I think a lot about the troops in Iraq. I pray for a speedy return and an opportunity to live a full life. For the ones not returning, well I guess they were needed in Heaven.
Drive on

I pray for the soldiers and their families everyday. It brings tears to my eyes to think of the children home waiting for parents to return from defending our country and liberating another. It puts things into perspective for me. I am sheltered, home with my three kids, safe cleaning house making dinner for my husband who returns from a stable job at 5:30 for dinner. We are so blessed by our Lord and blessed by the bravery and sacrafice of the soldiers who provide my families safety and protection. To say thank you is nowhere near the feelings of gratitude and debt I feel. i pray for saf return home and safety far from home leading the battle of good versus evil. Please know you fight with our Lord and Savior by your side, actually He is in front of you leading the way. please keep the faith. Glorify God in all yuou do and say and think everyday in every way. When we all fall short be quick to repent and pray for Gods strength to bring us back to His path for our lives. Serving in His name kris

Hi jman, I also want to thank you personally, for the willingness to go and fight, not just for our country, but for our neighbors, the Iraq's! As it says in Matthew 22:37 to 40, Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. You know, if everyone could follow these two commandments, all of the rest would fall into place! Our neighbors just don't live in the house beside us, but they live in the town beside us, the state beside us, the country beside us, and the countries that are not beside us! (The forums we post in) If we are to love them, as we love ourselves, and are to try to love them, the way that we are to love God, our choices on what to do, are easy! The only way that we can shine our light, and be an example, is to be the way we think that Jesus would be, according to His Word! Anyway, I just wanted you to know that I appreciate you, and have been praying for our soldiers ever since 9/11.
