I called my uncle, that resides in the St Louis area along with myself, this morning to see if his 2nd home was damaged by the hurricane in Florida. I quickly found out that it was completely destroyed, and he was on the other line trying to put together a shipment of needed items for his neighbors in Punta Gorda. He asked if he could call me back. Of course, as I was only watching L2 on CMKX, my day was pretty much open. As an hour passed, my wife had become overwhelmed with the need for "me" to help and to deliver any items available to the hurricane victoms. I must admit, I wanted to take the kids camping in the country, to experience nature as God intended it this weekend (in my 29 foot fully equipped camper) . I dont want to drive 20 hours to a part of the country that looks like a 3rd world country!... A few minute passed by, and I was overcome by the Holy Spirit, and knew what I had to do.... I am leaving in the morning with whatever I can find on the way out of town. My wife and kids have called many of our friends and I am overwhelmed with the response. I have my bible, 1000 Gods simple way of salvation tracts, a half full (soon to be full) trailer of water, food and clothing. Also included is the journey is an overwhelming joy that I feel I must share with those that are suffering. Please pray for me and my uncle as we journey. Also pray that my uncle will accept Christ, for he is not a believer. We have only discussed this a couple of times, but he does not feel that there is an after life. I feel that this may be an opportunity for him to know Christ. He is a very generous man, and having grown up in a Christian home, he is fully aware of Gods salvation through Jesus Christ. I dont know what more to say, but I hope to check in from Punta Gorda, FL. with some wonderful news... Rob
