My friends gave birth to their second child on Sept. 11. His name it Tyler, and he needs our prayers. He was born with a deformity in his aortic valve, and had to have an angeoplast (spelling?) to live this long. He has episodes periodically where it looks like he will die, but to this point he has not. He is heavily medicated to keep him from crying so that his heart is not overworked. If he lives, he will always have to see a cardiologist, so his health will never be perfect, but at least he will be alive. If you could pray for his parents (my good friends) who are not saved, his 2 yr. old sister, and him I would greatly appreciate it. The condition is known as Aortic Stenosis.
Thanks for your prayers,
Andy

Father, I do ask that you will bless this little baby with good health. Please help his parents to come to you and trust you for his life. I ask that you make him strong and give him the determination needed to be well. I know that you love the little children and this one is just a tiny little baby who needs your touch to draw his next breath. I ask in Jesus name for his healing and for his parents to know Jesus as Savior and Healer. Thank you for hearing my prayer and for all your blessings. Amen.

Thank you for your prayers both posted and unposted. I don't have an update yet. I'm hoping to visit Tyler in the hospital again tomorow and I'll let you all know how he is doing. I'll also be praying for wisdom that God will give me the words to encourage my friends to seek out the Lord.

I would like to thank all of you for your prayers, and would ask that you continue to pray for Tyler, his family and his Doctors. After church today we drove down to the hospital to see Tyler whose condition has improved to stable. He is still heavily sedated to keep him from waking, but he can now open his eyes. He is still hooked up to lots of machines, and has tubes and monitors and IV's all over the place. I didn't have an opportunity to witness to my friends as Tylers mom was asleep for most of our visit, and Tylers dad was pretty exhausted himself. Although Tylers condition has improved, the doctors need to see his heart get stronger before they can properly evaluate the condition of his aortic valve. If he is strong enogh they will take him off the sedatives and send him home. It could be a week, it could be a month, and there is still a chance that he might not make it at all (although that is looking less likely). I can't tell you how much your prayers mean to me, and I thank God for leading me to Christian Traders, because without this forum Tyler would never have recieved your prayers.
With heartfelt thanks,
Andy

Father, I pray for Tyler that you would continue to strengthen him and help him to grow up healthy. I pray for wisdom for the doctors and for his parents. I pray they would come to know you as the Savior, Lord and healer. I pray for Andy that he would be good friend and that you would give him wisdom on how, and when to share the gospel with them. I ask that you prepare their hearts now so when they hear the truth they will recognize it and recieve Jesus. I ask this in Jesus name and thank you Lord. Please bring your kingdom here. Let us serve you in the power of your Spirit I ask in the mighty name of Jesus. Thanks and Amen!

Hello, it's me again...just wanted to give you an update on Tyler's condition. He has not been taken off any of the machines, but has been taken off some of his medications. His heart is slowly getting stronger, but it is still not strong enough to evaluate the condition of his aortic valve. Since he is not as heavily medicated, the tubes are beginning to irritate him, and that san sometimes send him into a fit which his lungs can't handle. I spent a couple hours playing with Tyler's sister at her Grandma's house yesterday, and it was as good for me as it was for her. She misses her Mommy and Daddy besause she is used to having Mommy arround 24 / 7, and it's down to overnight + a couple of hours in the afternoon with either Mommy or Daddy. As long as Tyler's heart continues to strengthen, his likelyhood of going home next month improves. Nothing would make me happier than to see him safe at home having a normal life. For the short term, I just pray he can be taken off the ventilator (it seems that irritates him the most) which would be a significant step in the right direction.
Thank you all for your prayers,
Andy

Father, thank you for being with Tyler, his sister, and his Mom and Dad. Thank you for providing loving, caring pairs of hands to minister to Tyler's needs, and those of his family. Father, please strengthen Tyler's lungs, and Father, I pray that Tyler will soon be able to leave the life support systems behind him and make it on his own. Please Father, give his Mom and Dad the faith to hang on, in spite of what is going on around them. And, Lord, please use this time in their lives to bring them closer to You Son, Jesus. Lord I ask that Tyler will soon be able to go home, and that his body will continue to strenghten, and that one day, this time will be a faint memory in his Mom and Dad's minds. Please Father, send other that believe on the Name of Your Son, Jesus, into Tyler's Mom and Dad's lives, that they will be given "every" opportunity to come to know Your Son, repent of their sins, and ask Jesus to come into their hearts to live. Praise You Father, for hearing my prayer....and Lord I pray others that gather at this website will also, lift up Tyler and his family to You...because You have said where two or three are gathered together, You are there in the midst of them. In the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost, I pray....Thank You Jesus.....Amen and Amen

Dear Lord, It is my prayer that others that visit this website will feel led to take the time, out of their busy lives, to lift up Tyler, his sister, Mom, Dad, Grandparents, extended family, and friends in prayer this day. Seeking Your will in this situation, and in each of their lives, trusting You in faith, to bring about Your will and purpose for Tyler's life. And, Lord to pray that all glory, honor and praise will be to Thee, forevermore. Amen and Amen

Father, It is hard for us to understand why Tyler has gone back home to be with You, but Father we know that nothing happens to us that does not pass through Your hand first. Father, please continue to be with Tyler's Mom, Dad, Sister, and family. Please strengthem them, and sustain them through this difficult time in their lives. I pray Father, as Your Holy Word says, that all things work together for good to those that love God, and are called according to His purpose, so Father, I pray that in time Tyler's family will come to an understanding of You will in this circumstances of their lives.
Please Father, send loving caring friends and family members across their path, to minister to them in special ways. May their needs both physical and spiritural be met by those of Your children that You send to attend to them. Thank You Father, that You placed Andy and his wife in Tyler's short life to minister to their friends in Godly, Christ like ways. Father please draw Tyler's family ever closer to Jesus, as a concequence of this little child's passing.
I know Father that Tyler is now with You in Your Kingdom, and that it is Your will, that one day he will be reunited with his family in Your heavely rhelm. Please Father, I pray that Tyler's passing will draw his family ever closer to Jesus. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen and Amen
