Good Evening,
I'm sure most of you can't sleep, afraid you'll miss the open for CMKX. Drink some warm milk, set your alarm, read this post, then get some rest. Tomorrow's a big day for all of us. However, we'll get to that in a moment.
Most of you know we have a Christian Coffee House on Saturday nights. sweetdaddys.org
We had two great local bands and a group named Isaiah's Song from California. We always have a great time, but it's not the bands that come from all over the country to play, or the Starbucks latte's and fraps that make it great. It's the way the Holy Spirit shows up. There's never a night that we fail to experience the intimate presence of God, and the opportunities to minister one on one, are awesome. This Saturday was extra special
It was almost closing time when a young man stuck his head in the door and asked to see the Pastor. I stepped outside to invite him in, but he refused. We sat down on the steps and he began to tell his story. He's HIV positive, he's been living on the streets, he recently lost his mom, and he wouldn't come in because he didn't feel worthy. "Brother, none of us are", I assured him. "Only one is and that's why were here, to worship Him". "You don't understand" he said, "those Church people won't accept me. My mom used to take me to Church and I know what those people are like." I pressed the issue because inside those doors we're folks from all walks of life, some young, some old, from bikers to recovering addicts to ex-felons, who were worshipping as one body, undivided by the diversity of denominations represented, caught up in the spirit, and I wanted him to experience it. "Look at me" he said, "I'm dirty, my clothes are filthy, no way".
I felt a deep pain because I knew in my heart there was some truth to his feelings. A lot of Religious Folks, don't mind feeding the homeless, or caring for the downtrodden, over there. Way over there! "But do they have to come here?" I knew I wasn't going to convince him, so we just sat there on the steps and talked. We talked about his health, his mom and the things of God. We prayed together and he asked me for a Bible. I floated into the sanctuary and got him one. We talked and prayed some more and I set him up with a room for the night because the look in his eyes told me he had been on the streets one night to many. We parted and I made sure he knew he was always welcome.
When I stepped into the pulpit tonight, I was wearing blue jeans and work boots. Now I've never been a suit and tie guy, except for weddings and funerals, but I wanted to make a point. I wanted the congregation to be reminded that we should never begin to "think to highly of ourselves". I've been in Churches that looked more like a fashion runway in Paris than a house of prayer. Don't get me wrong here, I'm not against people dressing up for Church. In fact, God deserves your very best in everything. I'm even usually good for a pair of dress slacks, a button down collar and my $200 loafers with the cute little tassels that I bought at The Last Chance for $39.95.
(Who in their right mind would pay $200 for a pair of shoes anyway? I can feed an orphan in Africa for 6 months with just one of those shoes.)
But I dressed down for a purpose. I needed to get the message across that while the world is looking at the outside, God could care less. He's looking at what's inside, and all the Armani suits in the world can't cover a dark heart or a religious spirit. I talked about the young man I had met Saturday night, and how we as the body of Christ had better figure out how we were going to get the Gospel to those who weren't coming to us. A lot of people believe in God, but don't attend Church, and suffer from the absence of Christian fellowship in their lives because they don't have the right clothes. Or a place to shower. Or a tube of toothpaste.
Jesus made fun of the way the religious people dressed back in the day. With their fine robes and flowing tassels. (Not loafer tassels ) Imagine how I felt when half-way through the service the same young man I had been speaking about, walked into the Church. ;D
At the altar call, he accepted Christ!
What a life! God is good, all the time.
It gets better! A young lady recently diagnosed with MS, who recently tried to take her life, dropped in for Coffee last night. She was pretty convinced there was no God. If there was, why was this happening to her? Tough question, but I did my best. She was there tonight before the worship team even started, and before she left, her unbelief had left. One more for the Kingdom.
Scared and crying Saturday night, but glowing like Moses when he came down from the mountain as she walked out the door tonight.
Did I ever mention that our God is an awesome God? I'm sure I must have, somewhere..........

Keep in mind, some of these had a nice run Friday in the face of the bear, so watch for a solid entry point. If you were still short OSI on Friday you grabbed another 5 points. Congratulations! If you we're still long BSTE you finally got some wind under your wings to the tune of 3 points and ROXI has given you 7 points in two days. Wherever you're at, keep those stops tight and lock in your profits. Anytime you're up 10% on a position, adjust your stop loss to the purchase price and you'll never lose money on that position.
On to CMKX. The greatest drama in the history of the markets continues to unfold with the latest plot twist. A sub-penny stock paying a dividend? The speculation for tomorrow's open is incredible. Always watch the herd mentality, the more people who think it's going to happen, the less likely it will. I'm not saying it won't, but if by chance it should gap up substantially as many RUMORS suggest, don't chase it. A higher price will bring massive selling at some point during the day as people
A) Get rich
B) Recoup their initial investment so they have free stock.
A small gap could be bullish for adding. Otherwise, set your bid @ .0005 and wait for the market to come to you. It will. I know you're excited, but temper your enthusiasm with reason. Be careful. Not losing money is more important than making it. My guess is, we see a little run and then it's business as normal. Finish your milk, hit the sack and I'll see you on the board tomorrow.
Blessings
