Tonight's bias seems to be "let's get ready to rumble"
(rumble is Latin for rally)
The warning flags have all turned to caution as I surveyed the pundits tonight. If tomorrow was Tuesday instead of Friday. we'd stand a better chance. Some folks just won't hold over the week-end, so it takes some significant buying just to stay neutral.
I mentioned an anomaly I noticed the other night that the Toronto Exchange looked strong, and last night and tonight, I see some little or unknown banking stocks shaping up for a potential rally. Keep an eye on the sector.
CMKX sailed along quite smoothly. We didn't take out resistance, nor did we fall through our support level. In fact we made $ right? .0001? Multiply that by the O/S's and we can all go out for a cheeseburger.
We may have to split it but hey, what are friends for?
Today was a perfect day for the CMKX shareholder. If you wanted out you could do it, if you wanted in you could still afford it. I'm pleased. One last urgent plea for UC to call me, so we can arrange a meeting before I go make nice with the good General and Mr. Berkley, telling the world what a Christian Trader really is.
You guys are making history........
Just like those guys last night
When CRS made it's dip today, you just leaned back, took another sip of your double shot skinny mocha latte' with a hint of cinnamon from Madagascar right? You weren't troubled. You had adjusted your stop to the point where the worst thing that could have happened is you took your profit. Instead, moving into the close you bumped that stop a little higher didn't you? You bet you did. You're trading with the house's money now and did I mention that "the worst thing that can happen is you take your profits tomorrow or next week"?
"Could I get a refill please?"
Why do I keep harping on CRS when the majority of our positions are positive? No particular reason, it's just the one I chose to point out. There's no reason to go into long dissertations every night on every stock. Learn to much, and you'll fall in love. Bad idea when it comes to trading.
Buying companies? Love of my life, almost
I may buy a new company. NRDS - I still need to meet with management in person, but what I've been told by some sounds good. Others feel differently, so there's only one solution:
"Traders, I'm going in!"
You'll know what I find as soon as I find it. If you didn't catch today's posts on the Energy Sector topic or the posts in the new Subscription Category, give 'em a read. It won't keep you up all night, I promise.

Maybe I should start calling this section "Below the Line"
It doesn't quite have the punch of "Night-Line" but that's already taken and besides, I'm no Tom Brokaw. Did I just get my talking heads mixed up?
Being a Pastor I know a lot of religious folks. I'm glad you guys aren't religious. Religious folk are just mean. I mean hey, "Where's the love?"
Jesus figured that one out long ago. He said give me the meek, lowly at heart, and then he went after the Religious guys with a whip. They came back with a cross of course but that's another chapter. See, I told you they were mean. I'm excited about the opportunity to tell the world about the body of Christ that inhabits this board. No suits or ties or big hats. No doctrine. No titles. Just believers sharing their faith, living in harmony, enjoying life.
That's why he died for you. Life! Abundant life!
We all face our own struggles, but let's talk about how we fight the good fight and run the good race. Most of us probably spent a good part of the day telling God how big our problems are. Tomorrow, let's take a different approach, let's tell our problems how big our God is.
He did say Speak to the mountain... didn't he?
Tomorrow, do that. Speak to your mountain in faith, and watch it take a hike.
Whatever you're up against, remember this:
"Love God, Love people, you'll be all right!"
He said it, not me.
Shalom
