This morning I said goodby to a young man going off to Iraq to be a Black Hawk helicopter pilot. He is in the National Guard, and is proud of his service in the guard, and willing to serve his country.
As James left I told him that I would be keeping him in my prayers, and he said he would see me again in 2007.
My hope is that others will agree with me in prayer to lift James name up in prayer from time to time....that he will be kept safe from harm, and will be returned to his family, and friends unharmed. Meeting James has given me a face to put on the prayers that are offered up for our servicemen, as they forfill their duties to our country. We are so blessed by God to live in the United States of America, and to have willing young men and women go off to war to protect us from harm and to help bring democracy to the world.
Please whisper a prayer today, that James and I will meet again in 2007, and that during the interim James will draw close to God, and seek the Lord's will for his life.
May God bless each of you in a special way today, that join together with me in prayer for James......... Blessings, Adah

Father,
They and many that have come before them, have lain down their lives that we might have the freedom we so easily take for granted.
The freedom to worship, to speak our mind, to share our opinion.
Lord, we as Christians, most of us probably to old for active duty, can still assume the battle position alongside those soldiers everyday, on our knees.
Lord, I ask you the same thing the disciples asked you, "Teach us how to pray."
Protect them all, and bring them home safely.
In Jesus name, Amen
ps/ if you're reading this in English, thank a soldier

Hello Folks,
Greetings to you all in the Name of the Lord!
I am new to CT and was wondering if it is okay to discuss Business and biz-oriented issues here on this or any other board.
Have a blessed week ahead!
Thanks and Regards

Hi DustyFog-You could PM CT or me about the specifics and we could tell you where it might fit in the boards. It would not be on the prayer thread unless you were asking for prayer about it.
Welcome to the site. Look around and I hope you find it to be a great place to stop and find stock info, enjoy some fellowship and say a prayer or two for many of the prayer requests that come in. God Bless-Debi

Many men and women are risking their lives for us that sit safely at home, going on with our everyday lives. Father I ask that as we go about our days, that we will whisper prayers to You for the safety of these precious men and women. I ask that You, Lord God, will heap buckets of blessings upon their families, that they may have all that they need to sustain them at this time.
Father, please keep Your children that are in harms way....from evil of any sort. In Jesus Name, Amen

Lord God of Heaven and Earth. I pray you would be with all in the US military. Protect them from harm and let them look to you as their source and strength in all things.
Father, you desire that we would live in peace with all people as much as is possible. I pray that you will help the cause of peace among the peoples of earth.
Let the kingdom of your son Jesus expand and grow. Let your people shine the light of your love and grow in grace. Let us live so we can say come quickly Lord Jesus and be ready when you do. Amen.
