How will you spend you money when CMKX hits .01, .05, .10 or .50+ is a question that is often asked and thought about. I know I think about and enjoy thinking about it. I have told of my plans to use the bulk of any CMKX proceeds to feed orphans and widows through World Vision. I also plan to give to Voice of the Martyrs and many other wonderful ministries, people and missions. I know that some have thought and voiced talk is cheap. If you aren't giving to those causes now with the little you have, then you won't give later when you have more. I have to agree with them and I think the passage in the Bible verses following will show that Jesus said something similar.
'He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own? No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon'.
Mammon is a word used here to denote money. Basically I think the verses are talking about the love of money. Will money be your master or will Jesus? We can't serve both.
If God cannot trust us with money how can He give us the true riches? I like that scripture. In heaven we will walk on gold. Not because it is so valueable but because it is just dust.
One of my Pastors told a joke about a man who was going to die. He gathered his friends and family together and asked them to put all his money into gold bars and put those bars into his coffin with him when he died. He wanted to take the gold to heaven with him when he left the earth. So his friends cashed out his worldly goods upon his death, and put the gold bars in a big bag and then placed the bag in his coffin. When he got to heaven he was struggling to get the bag to the pearly gates, when St. Peter stuck his head out and asked,' What are you dragging all that pavement here for?'
I have always liked that. Pavement. Just pavement. If you don't use it for something eternal it is just pavement.
Let's remember God is our source and building his kingdom and caring for the people he created are the best investments. Extend some of his Grace to a hungry soul today. God Bless you abundantly-Debi
